About Anna Johansson
Watercolor Artist & Illustrator
Anna is a watercolor artist originally from Sweden. Drawing inspiration from the Bhakti tradition, Anna’s work is a luminous tapestry of ancient Indian narratives, feminine divinity, and the sacred rhythms of nature. Over 10 years, she created hundreds of illustrations for the Sita’s Fire Trilogy. Her artwork is also featured in her own books: The Art of Sita’s Fire and Illuminations from the Ramayana.
She love challenges, freedom, the infinite expansive sky, magic, ancient wisdom and meditation. She is a wife, mother and grandmother of three sparkling children.
